Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born July 7, 1968 is an American actress. Her most famous work is for her role in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois in DuPage County Illinois], near Chicago. Her family was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), schoolteachers. She is of Swedish descent, and has roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: The College years and the beginning of careers
She was first introduced to Hollywood through her work as a background actress in the film Lucas with Charlie Sheen, Corey Haim as well as Winona Ryder. Then she joined her older sister Betsy to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
