Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent for athletics when she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting potential at the moment. After a few weeks of the first trial she took her skills, she placed second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to study elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in the distance of 200 meters. In 2007, she defended her title by beating Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at the Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo regularly placing in the top three places in all her races.
